Connie Shoaf is a wildlife and landscape Artist who lives in Ohiopyle PA.
Connie's 5th grade teacher recognized her talent and selected her to attend The Tam O'Shanter Art Class (3 yrs) and Palette Class at Carnegie Museum (2 1/2 yrs) and then onto Carnegie Tech for an additional 2 years training. Upon graduation from high school, Connie studied Commercial Art at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She then pursued a career as a Graphic Artist working on projects for Bettis Atomic Plant, Knolls Atomic Plant, Sirkorsky Aircraft, Alcoa and Westinghouse. Upon retiring from the technical art industry, she now pursues her lifetime passion of painting wildlife and landscapes.
Connie likes using various materials including canvas, slate, wood, feathers and stones. She has recently displayed her work at Ligonier, Seven Springs, Mountain View Inn, Hidden Valley, various Covered Bridge Festivals in addition to several local shops. She has won multiple "Peoples Choice Awards" in the juried art shows in which she has entered. All displayed work is original art, no prints.
