Historic Uniontown PA
Just a short drive from Ohiopyle you will find Historic downtown Uniontown, birthplace of General George C Marshall. There are quite a few unique restaurants that we recommend in the downtown area. These include: Historic Titlow Tavern, Dimarco's, Nguyen's Caporella's, Meloni's, Lin's and Rizz's.
Uniontown has a few shops and if you enjoy walking, it is worth a trip. There are many historic churches in the area and sidewalks on Main street make it easy to get around to view the sites. Don't miss the Historic State Theatre, George Marshall Plaza, Fireman's Memorial, and The historic Uniontown Courthouse. If you are visiting in the summer stop by Storey Square to see live music each week or check out one of the annual Festivals held on Main Street like the Italian Heritage Festival.
