Youghiogheny River Lake otherwise known as Yough Lake - pronounced "Yawk"
Yough Lake is a flood controlled reservoir. The lake was formed in 1944 by damming the Youghiogheny River Confluence, Pennsylvania. Inhabited by a large variety of game and panfish, the lake is especially known as a hotspot for walleye and smallmouth bass.
